Ann Martin

Upon graduating from Hastings College, Ann joined the J.M. McDonald Company in Hastings, Nebraska and soon rose to become Advertising Manager for the chain of department stores. In 1982, she left the glamour world of creating fashion catalogs and started her own advertising agency.
The result has been more than 25 years in the fast-paced and constantly changing marketing and advertising business. Ann wears many hats at Idea Bank, including account management, copywriting, marketing planning, and of course the "big cheese" chapeau.
She is frequently tapped for community work, and currently serves on the board of Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska and the Grand Island Economic Development Corporation. She's past-president of the Hastings Noon Rotary, is a Nebraska Diplomat, and was named 1999 Nebraska Entrepreneur of the Year. Her family includes husband, Mac, and two college-aged sons.
