Tam blew through our door via Nebraska's fickle spring weather, having previously served as Executive Director of Hastings' annual outdoor fine arts and entertainment event. She's adept at holding tarps over speakers in torrential rain and 60 mph winds, and her eclectic background in fundraising, event planning, writing, politics, construction and railroading, has her convinced she has the weirdest resume on staff.
Tam holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hastings College. She and her husband, Sam, have two college-age sons who are taking full advantage of all that UNL has to offer. When she isn't making tuition payments or pretending to be athletic with her running partner - a Llewellin Setter named Sig - Tam writes ads, commercials, marketing plans, and everything else at Idea Bank.
