Tam blew through our door via Nebraska's fickle spring weather, having previously served as Executive Director of Hastings' annual outdoor fine arts and entertainment event. She's adept at holding tarps over speakers in torrential rain and 60 mph winds, and her eclectic background in fundraising, event planning, writing, politics, construction and railroading, has her convinced she has the weirdest resume on staff.
Tam holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hastings College. She and her husband, Sam, have two sons - one who is a civilian engineer at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, and the other a college student at UNL. When she isn't making tuition payments, or burning up the miles with her two Llewellin Setters, Tam writes a weekly column for the Hastings Tribune. Oh, and she writes ads, commercials, website copy, and everything else at Idea Bank, too.
