Interactive FAQs

Q: You've asked me to purchase a domain name and then want to know where we will host our site. Isn't it all the same thing?

A: No. Domain name and hosting sites are two separate things. A domain name is the name or title you own that will be used exclusively for your website. The host site is the internet server that holds all the files. Once we know its location, we can program your domain name to find for your site on the host server.

Idea Bank offers hosting services as well as domain name management services for the convenience of our client.

A: Here are some tips to choosing a good domain name for your website:
1. Short is easy to remember.
2. Simple is easy to spell.
3. Avoid numbers and hyphens.
4. Make it catchy, and relevant/unique to your business.
5. Avoid trademark issues (stay away from existing well known domains).

Q: What keywords should I use on my site?

A: Use words your customers would use to locate your site.
