James Ehly has joined Idea Bank Marketing in Hastings as a web developer and designer. As a web developer, Ehly will provide programming, web design, flash animation, video streaming and search engine optimization. Ehly will also be training businesses on using their content management systems and helping with print design.

Before joining Idea Bank Marketing, Ehly was creative director with 5Q Communications. Prior to that, he worked as a multimedia design specialist with the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Ehly grew up in Lincoln, and earned a bachelor of fine arts with an emphasis in printmaking from Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, Mo.

Ehly lives in Lincoln with his wife, Emily, and their children, Grace, 3, and Jack, 7 months. He is active with Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln where he plays electric guitar in their band.
