Tamera Schlueter Joins Idea Bank Marketing

Hastings resident, Tamera Schlueter, has joined Idea Bank Marketing as Copywriter and Account Planner. Schlueter will assist in the creation, development, and administration of ad campaigns in all types of media, and will write copy for ads, publicity, marketing, plans, and proposals.

Idea Bank Marketing has been providing creative, comprehensive marketing and advertising services for a wide variety of clients in Nebraska and surrounding states since 1982.

Schlueter is also the current director of the Cottonwood Festival, a position she will resign after the 2007 event in June. Previous positions include directorships with the Hastings College Foundation and the Nebraska Republican Party.

Schlueter has extensive experience in event planning, writing, administration, and fundraising. She also writes a monthly humor column, which appears in the Hastings Tribune. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Hastings College.

She and her husband, Sam, own Sam Construction, a local construction company. The couple has two sons: Brett who is a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Gregg, who is a sophomore at Hastings High School.
