Sherma has been a partner at IdeaBank Marketing since 1993 and on staff since 1988, so she knows what it takes to make advertisements sing, video pop and clients happy. There’s an electric charge when she’s in the office, and her creative zip keeps the phones humming and projects hopping.

Sherma has covered all aspects of concept development, project planning, technical production and interactive design for clients of every size. Her experience includes new product introductions, fundraising campaigns, branding efforts, full-scale digital campaigns, market research and more.

When Sherma graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1986 with a degree in advertising, her entire portfolio was created with pencil sketches, markers and airbrush. Having been trained the old-school way, she truly appreciates the powerful digital tools at our disposal today. She believes combining traditional methods with today’s interactive advances is the best way to achieve marketing success.

When not at work, you may spot her at estate sales, auctions, flea markets and antique stores. She has a love for oddities and unique one-of-a-kind decorating pieces. She also enjoys hosting family and friends with her husband, Mark, at their cabin on Lake McConaughy and planning play dates with her granddaughters, Rose and Reagan.

CliftonStrengths:

Activator | Responsibility | Ideation | Achiever | Communication

“When can we start?” is a recurring question from Sherma, demonstrating her Activator strength. Once a decision is made, she’s raring to go. Responsibility powers her near obsession for doing things right. When she commits to something, she’s in it 100%. Seeking new perspectives and ways to communicate seemingly disparate ideas fuels her Ideation strength. Highly driven, her Achiever strength pushes her to new projects and challenges. Good ideas deserve more attention, so Communication is how she ensures that the right people are hearing the right message at the right time.
