Graphic Artist

Job Length: Long Term, 40-hours per week

Our growing agency is seeking a graphic artist to craft creative visuals for our diverse clientele. The successful candidate will conceptualize and produce marketing and promotional projects for our 30+ active client list and will work within a team of project managers, writers, and strategists to create compelling and cutting edge visual presentations for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and produce finished artwork and digital pre-press files according to industry best practices
• Create and illustrate graphic elements for cross-channel campaigns, including email, storyboards, social, and other digital channels
• Strive to meet assigned deadlines, alerting the account executive and/or project manager of any delays and whether an extension is necessary
• Stay current with emerging design trends, illustration styles, fonts, software, plug-ins, and devices as they relate to design, illustration, photography, pre-press, etc
• Review all work for errors/omissions prior to submitting to the account executive/project manager and strive to make all requested changes/corrections promptly and correctly

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a professional graphic artist and/or a degree in art, design or advertising
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• A strong and diverse portfolio of print and interactive design
• The ability to edit video or create motion graphics/animations is a PLUS

Our team of designers, web developers, writers, digital specialists, and marketing professionals are focused on designing ads and campaigns that work. We don’t exist to design for design’s sake. Pretty pictures are great for refrigerators but if they’re not good enough to sell refrigerators, we don’t want them.
