Job Length: Long Term, 40-hours per week
Starting Salary Range: $50,000-60,000/year

Job Description

We are seeking a solutions-oriented and technically adept Web Production Specialist to join our digital team. This individual will play a critical role in building, maintaining, upgrading, and securing our clients' websites. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to manage web systems and support workflows efficiently.

You might be new to marketing but have the potential to learn and pick up ideas and concepts very quickly. The ideal candidate is driven, eager, and looking to gain experience on a great team. Collaboration with creative, strategy, content, and account service teams will be a normal course of your daily routine as we all work closely together. We anticipate 5 plus years of applicable website management and/or programming experience. Agency and/or digital marketing experience is a plus!

Duties: Relating to client, and IdeaBank Marketing systems

  • Manage hosting environments, SSL certificates, and server performance/security
  • Maintain site features, plugins, integrations, and resolve downtime alerts
  • Research and estimate new web features and upgrades for client sites
  • Oversee client support requests; coordinate internal or outsourced fixes
  • Collaborate with our preferred vendors on upgrades, site builds, and compliance
  • Create client training materials and conduct client training

Skills: Employee must have a(n)…

  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript and other web-programming languages (PHP, MySQL a plus!)
  • Knowledge/experience with website CMS such as WordPress
  • Familiarity with shared (WHM + cPanel) and dedicated hosting environments
  • Strong communication skills, and a propensity for patience with clients displaying a wide range of technical abilities
  • Dedication to research and troubleshooting, as well as keeping up with industry standards
  • Experience with customer service and support

Experience/Training:

  • 5+ years of web development experience
  • Bachelors Degree (or higher) preferred
