Video: Seeing Is Believing
Using video demos for quick and easy explanations.
Seeing a thing in action can make all the difference.
I have a toy horse. It is a small figure that looks solid, but its limbs are actually held together by strings.
I can make the horse dance around. It kneels, sways from side to side, rares back its head, or takes a bow. When I put it down, the horse stands up straight again.
Can you picture it? Do you know what it is called?
If not, don't feel bad. It's one of those things you just have to see in action to understand.
Take a look:
Sometimes a careful and complete explanation can be useless. But a three-seconds of demonstration can be more than enough.
Here are three projects where IdeaBank used video to better tell our clients' stories:
Nebraska Aluminum CastingsEver try to explain the process used to cast aluminum parts? Didn't think so. Highlighting the process and equipment used by NAC was a challenge better-met by showing, rather than telling. |
|
United Way of South Central NEDemonstrations aren't reserved for products and equipment. In this campaign video for the United Way of South Central Nebraska, we used emotional appeals as our interviewees demonstrated their passion for serving United Way. |

Overhead Door Co.Not only is coiling a spring a complicated and involved process, it's also super-cool to watch. A video demo was a perfect fit for showcasing spring coiler equipment and operation at Overhead Door Co. in Grand Island, NE. |
